Our Area

West Devon Green Party covers a vast area from Hatherleigh in the North West of Dartmoor to Bere Ferris in the South West, Lifton in the West and Chagford in the East. We cover the same area as West Devon Borough Council. We also cover two Parliamentary Constituencies; West Devon and Torridge as well as Central Devon.

We campaign on local, national and international issues and look to stand candidates in both local and general elections.

Could you help deliver leaflets to your street, or go out with our campaign team and speak to local residents about their concerns? Do you have a window or garden that you would be willing to put a poster in? We also need volunteers to help out at our weekly stall in Bedford Square, Tavistock on a Tuesday as well as at any of our public events.

Do you have fundraising experience or web design, press, research and administrative skills? Are you a musician? A film maker or photographer? Whatever your level of experience and however much or little time you can give, we would love to hear from you.

Contact Martin Cusack by email or telephone (as above) for more information about the ways in which you can get involved with the Green movement.

We have a Crowdfunding page, please check it out and pledge what you can. Any and all support is gratefully received by us and will go a long way towards enabling us to really make a difference in our local community.

Stand for Council

Over the next few years we aim to get several Green Party councillors on the local Borough, District and County Councils so that they can make a difference and be a voice for the real opinions of their communities. We are always looking for enthusiastic, committed and hard-working candidates and are particularly keen to ensure diversity amongst our candidates.

If you are interested in standing for us in your area please get in touch with Hugh Norman (Elections Agent) via email or by telephone on 01837 840 274. Candidates must be paid-up members of the Green Party and support its main aims and policies.
