We campaign on local, national and international issues and look to stand candidates in both local and general elections.
As a member, you can be as active as you like - from armchair and online support to standing as a candidate for election. For more information, please contact Sara Palmer (Membership Secretary).
Are you a student? You can join the Green Party for just £6 a year.
You don’t have to join the Green Party to volunteer for campaigning work. How about delivering leaflets along your street, or going out with our campaign team to speak with local residents about their concerns? Could you put a poster in your window or garden? We also need volunteers to help out at our regular stall in Bedford Square, Tavistock.
We’re also looking for anyone with fundraising experience or web design, press, research and administrative skills. Are you a musician? A film maker or photographer? Whatever your level of experience and however much or little time you can give, we’d love to hear from you.

Regular and one-off donations are, of course, always welcome. You’ll soon be able to donate electronically to the West Devon Green Party. In the meantime you can send a cheque by contacting Malcolm Calder.
Our aim is to keep expanding the number of Green Party councillors on the local Borough and County Councils. They make a genuine difference and are a voice for the real opinions of their communities.
If you’re up for the task, we’re always looking for enthusiastic, committed and hard-working candidates and keen to ensure diversity. You’ll have to be a paid-up member of the Green Party and support its main aims and policies.
